About Jarrett


Jarrett Jarrett is a seasoned designer, maker, and creative problem-solver with an insatiable curiosity for building thoughtful, user-centered solutions. Raised on his family’s farm in Southern Virginia, he developed a deep appreciation for hard work, perseverance, and hands-on learning from an early age.

His passion for user interface design emerged while working as an end-user support specialist, where he assisted individuals of all ages with everyday computer tasks—ranging from saving files to portable media to printing school papers and creating resumes. These early experiences revealed the critical need for more intuitive and accessible technology, igniting his interest in human-centered design.

Jarrett’s career took a significant leap when he joined Microsoft as a User Interface Designer, applying his insights across a variety of product teams. This role marked the beginning of a 20+ year journey in product interface and user experience design, where he has consistently focused on creating tools that empower users and simplify complex interactions.

Outside of work, Jarrett enjoys photography, sketching, riding motorcycles, and spending time outdoors with his wife, two children, and their dogs, Rosie and Taz.
